TANCET 2020 – MBA MCA ME MTech M Plan MArch Admission Tamilnadu

Anna University has started online registration for TANCET 2020 eligibility examination on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is an eligibility examination for MBA MCA ME MTech M Plan MArch courses in colleges of Tamil Nadu, India. The application is in online mode only. Other states candidates also eligible for the TANCET entrance exam.

Educational Qualification:

MBA:
Candidates should possess a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying degree.

MCA:
A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate level
and obtained at least 50% (45% reserved category) in the qualifying degree.

M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan:
A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying degree.

Application Fees:

MBA:
For SC /SCA /ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu: Rs.300
For Other Candidates : Rs.600

MCA:
For SC /SCA /ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu: Rs.300
For Other Candidates : Rs.600

ME/MTech/MArch/MPlan:
For SC /SCA /ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu: Rs.300
For Other Candidates : Rs.600

You can also apply more than one course for the entrance exam. For that just sum the application fee of each course.
Example: For MBA+MCA+ME/MTech/MArch/MPlan = 600+600+600 = Rs.1800 for general and Rs.900 for SC /SCA /ST.

Last date for Registration of Application : 04-02-2020 @ 5.00 PM [extended]
Downloading of Hall Tickets : February 13, 2020
Announcement of Results : March 20, 2020
Downloading of Mark Sheets : March 23, 2020

Entrance Test Date and Time:

MCA : 29.02.2020 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
MBA : 29.02.2020 02.30 p.m. to 04.30 p.m.
ME/MTech MArch/MPlan : 01.03.2020 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon

How to apply TANCET 2020 entrance exam online?

Go to official Tancet 2020 website https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/
Then click on the Registration Link from top menu.
Then click Register.
If already registered login.
You will get TANCET secret key in your mobile.
After completing all details click on click Submit button.
During the TANCET online application process you need to upload photo and community certificate for SC/ST/SCA.
Pay your payment.
Finally take a print out of your application.
