TNTET Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2022

TRB Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board Chennai has released the job notification for the post of Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test. The application is in Online Mode only and it will start from 14.03.2022 to 13.04.2022. Please read this post for all important details about this post. TRB TNTET Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 details:

Educational Qualification:

For TNTET Paper-I (classes I-V)

Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
[Or]
Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.
[Or]
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
[Or]
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
[Or]
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
[Or]
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,).

For TNTET Paper-II (classes VI-VIII)

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
[Or]
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations.
[Or]
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
[Or]
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
[Or]
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
[Or]
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. programme, recognized by the NCTE is
eligible to appear in TNTET.

Application Fees:

Application fee for SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates is Rs.250/-
For others the application fees is Rs. 500/- + GST

Important dates:

Date of TN Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Online Notification: 07.03.2022
Starting Date to Online Application: 14.03.2022
Last date to apply online application and Payment : 13.04.2022
Date of the Examination TNTET – Paper I: will be announced later
Date of the Examination TNTET – Paper II: will be announced later

Age Limit:

The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old. There is no upper age limit.

How to apply TNTET online?

Go to official TRB website http://trb.tn.nic.in/
Then click the TNTET– Online Application link.
Then click Online application.
After that Select New User button from top and register. Then fill the form using your registration number and password.
During the application, you need to upload your photo, signature, 10th Mark Sheet, 12th Mark Sheet, UG Degree, PG Degree, Community Certificate, (PSTM) if any, Disability Certificate ( if applicable), No Objection Certificate, if the candidate is Government Servant, Last studied Conduct Certificate and submit the application.
After that pay your payment via online and complete all step.
Finally take a print of your application.
