TNPSC Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the job notification for the post of COMBINED CIVIL SERVICES-I EXAMINATION (GROUP I SERVICES) in Tamil Nadu . TNPSC Combined Civil Services -I Examination (Group-I Services) 2020 details:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates Should Possess a pass in Degree in of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

Preferential Qualification:

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category I) – National awards for Physical efficiency.

Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes)
First Preference – A degree both in Commerce and Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws.
Second Preference – A degree both in Commerce and Law.
Third Preference – A degree either in Commerce or Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws.
Fourth Preference – A degree either in Commerce or Law.

Assistant Director of Rural Development Department
i. Post Graduate Degree in Rural Service of the Gandhigram Rural Institute, Madurai District.
ii. Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Extension.
iii. Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology

The total number of approximate vacancies for the post of Combined Civil Services -I Examination (Group-I Services) is 69 posts at the time of notification.

1. Deputy Collector – 18 posts
2. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-I) -19 Post
3. Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) – 10 posts
4. Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies – 14 posts
5. Assistant Director of Rural Development – 7 posts
6. District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) – 1 post

Pay Scale:

The level of pay scale for this Group-I Services job is Level 22 Rs.56100- 177500

One-Time Registration : Rs 150 (For all category)
Preliminary Examination Fee : Rs 100 (In the time of application. Please check below for Concession)
Main Written Examination Fee : Rs 200 (Only for who passed in Preliminary )

For BC, BCM and MBC/ DC the application fee : (First 3 Time Free Concession)
For Ex-Servicemen : (First 2 Time Free Concession)
Zor SC, SCA & ST, Destitute widow and Differently abled persons the application fees is NIL (Full Exemption)

Age Limit:

Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
Maximum Age Limit for SCs, SC(A)s,STs,MBCs/DCs,BCs, BCMsand DWs of all categories Candidates : 37 Years (except Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes )) and 38 years for applicants possessing B.L. degree .
Maximum Age Limit for Differently abled persons : age concession upto 10 years
Maximum Age Limit for Other Candidates : 32 Years and for BL degree 33 years
Maximum Age Limit for Ex servicemen : 53 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and 48 years for “Others”

Read the POSTS INCLUDED IN COMBINED CIVIL SERVICES-I EXAMINATION (GROUP I SERVICES) notification and apply the job via Apply Online link.
If you a new user, then first Register the Onetime registration.
Then using your username and password apply the COMBINED CIVIL SERVICES-I EXAMINATION (GROUP I SERVICES).
You need to upload your photo and signature and certificate details during the application process.
