Educational Qualification:

Candidates Should Possess a pass in Higher Secondary Course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the Subject. This qualification is not required for Jungle Tribes Reserve Watchers appointed on or before 11.10.1982. And appointed on or after the 11th October 1982 but prior to the 12th November 1987 must possess a pass in VIII standard . And who were appointed as Forest Watcher on or after 13.11.1987 must possess the Minimum General Educational Qualification.

The total number of approximate vacancies for the post of Forest Guard is 227 and Forest Guard with Driving Licence is 93 at the time of notification.

Pay Scale:

The level of pay scale for this Forest Guard job is Level 5 Rs.18,200 to Rs.57,900 and Forest Guard with Driving Licence is Level 5 Rs.18,200 to Rs.57,900.

For SC/ST the application fee is Rs.150/- + service charges
For other persons the application fees is Rs. 200/- + service charges
