Educational Qualification:

Candidates Should Possess a pass in Degree in the field of EEE/ECE/EIE/CSE/IT Engineering or a pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch or equivalent recognized by the UGC for the post of Assistant Engineer Electrical. Candidates Should Possess a pass in a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or a pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch or equivalent recognized by the UGC for the post of Assistant Engineer Civil.
Candidates Should Possess a pass in a degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering or a pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Mechanical Engineering Branch or equivalent recognized by the UGC for the post of Assistant Engineer Mechanical. Candidates should possess an adequate knowledge of the official language Taminadu Tamil language.

Vacancy Details:

The total number of approximate vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer in Electrical is 400, Assistant Engineer in Mechanical is 125 , Assistant Engineer in Civil is 75 and totally 600 posts at the time of notification. Further the vacancies for Assistant Engineer in Electrical is divided by for Electrical and Electronics Engineering – 364, Electronics and Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering – 28, Computer Science/ Information Technology Engineering – 8 vacancies.
