SSB Constable Recruitment 2020 Details:

Educational Qualification:

Constable (Driver):
i) 10th or Matriculation or equivalent pass and
ii) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and
iii) For male only

Constable (Laboratory Assistant):
i) 10th or Matriculation with Science and
ii) Certificate in Laboratory Assistant Course

Constable (Veterinary):
i)10th or Matriculation with Science
Desirable : 1 year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a Veterinary Hospital.

Constable (Ayah):
i) 10th or Matriculation with Science.
ii) First Aid Examination certificate from Red Cross Society or should be trained Dai.
iii) 1year experience
iv) For female only

Constables (Carpenter, Plumber and Painter):
i) 10th or Matriculation with Science and
ii) 2 years work experience in respective trade
[OR]
ii) 1 year certificate course from ITI with 1 year experience in the respective trade
[OR]
ii) 2 years Diploma from ITI in the respective trade and
iii) Must qualify trade test.

Constables (Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier, Waiter, Tailor, Gardener and Cobbler):
i) 10th or Matriculation and
ii) 2 years work experience in respective trades;

ii) 1 year certificate course in ITI with 1 year experience in the trade
[OR]
ii) Two years Diploma ITI in the trade and
iii) Must qualify trade test.

The total number of approximate vacancies for the post of Constable in Laboratory Assistant, Veterinary, Ayah, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Tailor, Cobbler, Gardener, Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier & Waiter is 1552 at the time of notification.

Pay Scale:

Monthly salary for all Constable posts are Level-3 Pay Matrix Rs. 21700-69100/- as per 7th CPC.

Age Limit:

The minimum and maximum of age limit for all posts are 18 to 25 years except Constable(Driver). For driver the age qualification is 21 to 27 years.
